Put simply it’s the age and efficiency rating of you current boiler compared to the 90% rating of all the carefully selected boilers we fit. If, for example, your old boiler is 10-15 years old and has an efficiency rating of Band F it probably would be running at about 50%. In other words, for every £1 you put in your gas meter only 50p goes into heating your home whilst the other 50p goes out of the flue, effectively heating the street!
