what is the government
eco and flex scheme?

The Energy Company Obligation ( ECO ) is a government program originally set up in 2013 to help make the UK housing stock more energy efficient by installing various energy saving measures. ECO4 is the latest installment of this program, whereby homeowners can now get a 100% free replacement of inefficient heating with the latest electric heating system.

If you are a homeowner or private tenant and are in receipt of any income-related benefits, then the likelihood is you qualify. Another route to qualifying is the Local Authority Flex Scheme ( LA Flex ) which requires NO BENEFITS. The benefits criteria from October 2018 has now been opened to capture a lot more people who need help.

This allows more residents, in addition to those claiming benefits, to qualify for funding, based on low incomes, health, age or area, giving councils the ability to support specific communities. Each Local Authority have a different criteria and are forever changing, we advise you call or fill out our form at the bottom of this page to discuss your current situation and find out if you qualify.
